Sabre 40
The Model 40
Model Designation - NA265-40
The first of the six models that make up the Sabreliner family of aircraft, the Sabre 40, is a true testament to the words "staying power." The very first Sabre manufactured is still providing safe, affordable travel to Sabreliner Corp, the OEM that built it. That's how much we believe in the reliability of the Sabre aircraft. A total of 137 Sabre 40s were manufactured from October 1963 through September 1974, and all mirror the rugged durability of their military predecessor.
Did you know . . . Except for a few early birds with just two windows per side, the Model 40 is the only Sabre with only three tear-drop shaped cabin windows per side?
