2,000-Hour Life Extension

life extensionSabreliner Corp. offers a special FAA-approved inspection program that adds 2,000 hours of life to all 40 and 60 Model Sabreliners with a 10,000-hour life limit.  This program provides approximately eight years of typical operator flying based on 250 flight hours per year.

This inspection does not carry the mandatory replacement of parts required for other similar programs.  The aircraft continues on its current maintenance schedule after completing the baseline life extension inspection at Sabreliner's facility in Perryville, Mo.

life extensionAnother major benefit of this 2,000-hour life extension is that all of the 36, 48, and 60-month inspections are also accomplished as part of the program, which reduces maintenance costs and downtime over the next five-year period.  Downtime for the inspection is two weeks.
