August 26, 2009

Sabreliner Corporation officials announced ratification of a four-year contract with the company following a vote by employee members of Teamsters Local Union No. 600 to accept.

"Our negotiations with the union leadership this year were productive and professional, and we are very pleased that the membership has voted to ratify the contract we worked out together," said Patrick J. Finneran Jr., president and CEO.  "We believe the agreement is one that will allow the company to continue to work for long-term sustainable growth, even in these difficult economic times."

Sabreliner has three operations in southeast Missouri, employing more than 400 in the cities of Perryville, Ste. Genevieve and St. Mary.  All of the aircraft technicians, wood and sheet metal workers, painters and other craftsmen are represented by the union.

The new contract, which was approved by union members Tuesday, extends through mid-August, 2013.
