David Bauman Named To Head Operations
At Sabreliner’s Southeast Missouri Facilities

David F. Bauman has been named vice president, Southeast Missouri operations for Sabreliner Corp. He reports to Ronnie Herman, senior vice president of operations, and will provide overall operations direction and leadership for the company’s Perryville, Ste. Genevieve and St. Mary, Mo. facilities.

Bauman also will serve on Sabreliner’s corporate management committee.

He most recently was senior vice president, aircraft maintenance for NetJets Aviation in Columbus, Ohio, where he was responsible for all maintenance operations for more than 400 aircraft.

He joined the U.S. Navy after high school, becoming a jet engine mechanic. He progressed rapidly and received a performance-based promotion to commissioned officer in 1982. He ended his military career as a lieutenant commander, serving as director of aircraft maintenance on the USS Guam, where his team of 250 supported deployment readiness of all the aircraft aboard ship.
