Mark Stuesse Named to Head Sabreliner's St. Mary Operation
Mark Stuesse, a 25-year manufacturing veteran, has been promoted by Sabreliner
Corp. to serve as senior manager of its St. Mary, Mo. dedicated aviation
manufacturing operation.
Stuesse’s primary role will be to manage the operation, with responsibility
for all of its parts manufacturing and processing programs. He joined
Sabreliner in May of this year as proposal manager, and will continue
to be responsible for planning and estimating.
Prior to joining Sabreliner, Stuesse served in a variety of manufacturing
functions, having served as project/sales engineer for Hellebusch Tool
in Washington, Mo. and previously as general manager of Htool &
Manufacturing Co. in Sunset Hills, Mo. He holds a bachelor’s degree
in business administration from Fontbonne University in St. Louis.
Much of Sabreliner’s manufacturing takes place in St. Mary, where
aircraft parts are produced for such aerospace manufacturers as Airbus,
Bombardier and Sikorsky, as part of the company’s subcontracting
work. Those programs led to multiple expansions of what had been a limited
production facility in St. Mary into the aviation manufacturing center
it is today. First opened in 1997, St. Mary is now home to a broad array
of industrial Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) equipment and a
15-tank, two-line chemical processing facility for Alodine application,
etch processing and dye penetrate detection.
